 Thanos Will Back in Fortnite as Skin and Available to Purchase

Among the most popular events in Fortnite's history was one that allowed players to handle Thanos, the Marvel Cinematic Universe's main baddie. Thanos, on the other hand, only existed in Fortnite for a limited time, which meant that once the event involving him ended, he could no longer be employed in the game. Thankfully, more over three years after the initial Thanos event, Epic Games is now allowing gamers to permanently capture the Mad Titan.

Next week, on June 26, Fortnite will bring Thanos back as a skin that can be purchased in the Item Shop. Of course, Thanos will appear, brandishing the Infinity Gauntlet and sporting a similar appearance to that of the figure in Avengers: Endgame. In addition, gamers will be able to give Thanos a set of Back Bling that looks like the Infinity Gauntlet.

Both Marvel and Fortnite are popular video game franchises. After Endgame, Marvel has moved on from Thanos. Galactus was the latest Marvel Big Bad to try to eat the entire map in Fortnite. And, despite the fact that Phase 4 is barely getting started, the MCU does not appear to have agreed on a single threat.

The Universe required correction.

How To Get The Thanos Skin In Fortnite?

Epic Games, along with previous skin releases of this nature, will give gamers the opportunity to get Thanos in Fortnite a little early. The Thanos Cup will be added to Fortnite next week, on June 21. This tournament will allow you and one other partner to participate in 10 games over the period of three hours in order to earn the most points. The Thanos Outfit and Back Bling inspired by Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame will be awarded to the top-performing teams in each zone. The Thanos Watches will be given to everyone who achieves a total of 8 points! Spray. If your team ends up being one of the best in a given region, Epic will award you with this Thanos skin and his Back Bling before the game's official release. Even if you don't win the main prize, everyone who earns at least 8 points will receive a Thanos-themed spray. 

If you want to play in the Thanos Cup, it will be available on all Fortnite platforms, including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices, starting next Monday. The skin will be available in the Item Shop on these same platforms starting next Saturday at 8 p.m. EST.

Well, it'll be time to add Thanos here soon enough. Loki and a new Thor variation are also rumored to be on the way.
