Black Panther is pitted against Ulysses Klaue, dubbed Klaw, in an official cinematic teaser for Marvel's Avengers: War for Wakanda expansion.
A new official cinematic trailer for Marvel's Avengers: War for Wakanda, the next Marvel's Avengers update starring Black Panther, has been released by Marvel, Square Enix, and Crystal Dynamics.
The teaser, set to Ohana Bam's "Make Way For The King," pits Wakanda's King against his arch-nemesis Ulysses Klaue, alias Klaw, who makes his physical appearance after being hinted in the War for Wakanda reveal video. The expansion follows Black Panther on his journey to protect Wakanda against Klaw, who intends to take the nation's vibranium for his own evil goals.
The latest Marvel's Avengers War for Wakanda video doesn't show any gameplay, but it does show some of the superhero's slick combat maneuvers in a cinematic manner. Mostly, he fights Ulysses Klaue in his usual human form, but at the conclusion, we see Black Panther square up against a far more powerful foe: Klaw, Ulysses Klaue's villainous alter ego.
War for Wakanda is the sequel to March's Future Imperfect expansion, which included the addition of Hawkeye as a playable character, the Wastelands zone, and Maestro as a new villain. Taking Aim had already introduced Kate Bishop as a playable character and the Super-Adaptoid as a monster to the game. These Marvel's Avengers upgrades will be accessible at no additional cost to players, as is customary.
Marvel's Avengers has received many improvements in recent months, including a complete next-gen edition in March of this year. The video game's depiction of Klaw is quite similar to his MCU counterpart, both in looks and motives, just like Marvel's Avengers' portrayal on Wakanda is physically evocative of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version.
Marvel's Avengers is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Windows, and Google Stadia, and was developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. This August, the War for Wakanda expansion will be released.
