Prison Architect is available for free on the Epic Games Store list

The free game for next week at Epic is a mystery, which normally means you'll want to get it.

The Epic Games Store offers free games on a weekly basis, and the service will be available until at least 2021. Epic offers out between one and three free games every Thursday at the same time (8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET). To begin receiving freebies, simply establish a free Epic account and enable two-factor authentication. At this point, Epic has distributed well over 100 free games, and there is no indication that the initiative will be terminated anytime soon. This post is updated weekly to showcase both the current free games and the upcoming free games.

You can grab Godfall: Challenger Edition and Prison Architect until December 16 at 8 a.m. PT / 11 a.m. ET. Godfall: Challenger Edition is a new version of the action game that was first launched last year for the PlayStation 5 and PC. This edition omits all story information in favor of focusing on the game's three endgame modes. It's also free to download on PlayStation systems as part of the PS Plus free games list for December.

Meanwhile, Jail Architect is a well-received building and management simulation centered on the creation and operation of your own private prison.

Epic's free game for next week

For next week's freebie, the Epic Games Store has teased a "Mystery Game." The as-yet-unnamed free game will be available beginning December 16. It's worth noting that Epic's mystery games are usually quite good AAA titles, so keep an eye out for them. Epic also released a number of mystery games during the holiday season last year, so next week will most likely be the first of numerous surprise-free games.

How should I get Epic Games?

To get the Epic Games launcher, go to:

• Visit any Epic Games product website, such as the Fortnite or Unreal Engine pages.
• In the upper right corner, click Download.
• Sign in with your existing account when prompted, or create an Epic account if you don't already have one.
• If you want to use your console or first-party account credentials, you have other options.
• The Launcher installer file should begin downloading automatically. If it doesn't, click the button that corresponds to your platform to start the download manually.

Is it possible to get Epic Games for free?

Every week, the Epic Games Store offers a free game. Return frequently to take advantage of the exclusive offerings. Today, you can download a free game or join a free-to-play game community.

Can I get epic games for Android?

Go to the Epic Games website in your mobile browser and tap the "Download" button to install their app. 2. Follow the on-screen directions to wait for the download pop-up. When that happens, press "Open" to start installing the app.

Why is Epic Games giving away games for free?

Epic simply gives away at least one game for free every week. This is due in large part to the fact that Epic is a newbie on the scene and is likely aiming to entice customers away from existing platforms like Steam, GOG, and Origin.
