PUBG: New State Patch Notes for January 2022 Features: BR Extreme, P90 Weapon

The latest patch for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: New State is set to release soon, bringing with it a new and faster way to enter Troi's world.

The BR Extreme mode is the biggest addition to the game from this update, and it changes the battle royale format in a few ways: the player count is reduced from 100 to 64, those 64 players will drop onto a small and randomized section of the map rather than the entire map, players will drop from a lower altitude to hit the ground faster, and each match will be limited to 20 minutes.

The January 2022 patch for PUBG: New State will be released this week, though no exact date has been set. Below is the complete list of patch notes as received from the PUBG: New State website.

New Mode: Battle Royal: Extreme

• In Troi, BR: Extreme (64) is a new mode set. While the core experience of this mode is firmly rooted in the Battle Royale genre, each round will be limited to only 64 Survivors and will last only 20 minutes.
• The Battleground is limited to a smaller playable area within Troi in this mode. Every match, the playable area will be chosen at random and will change.
• All Survivors will be given a P1911 handgun, to begin with.
• 1 grenade de fumes
• Boost meters are fully charged with 300 Drone Credits.
• Two Care Packages will be dropped at random locations when the match begins, allowing players to stock up on higher-end gear earlier in the game.

Additional features that set BR: Extreme (64) apart from PUBG:

The following are some additional features that differentiate BR: Extreme (64) from PUBG: NEW STATE's standard mode:

• Increased the number of vehicles and items available throughout Troi, allowing players to farm faster.
• Survivors will jump from the plane at a lower altitude in order to land as quickly as possible on the map.
• Players will be able to get their hands on items faster thanks to delivery drones.
• The time it takes to redeploy a teammate has been reduced to 60 seconds.

P90 is a new weapon-

• The P90 can now spawn in Care Packages on the Battlegrounds!
• This SMG will come with a standard tier-2 transformative scope and a suppressor attached, but it cannot be modified with other attachments.
• It will use 5.7mm ammo, which will also be added to the Drone Store.

New Customizations for Guns-

• [C2] DP-28 Access to the Muzzle Slot
• Players will be able to attach a Flash Hider (AR/DMR) or a Compensator (AR/DMR) to the DP-28 with this customization.
• When these attachments are used, however, gun damage is reduced slightly.
• M762 [C2] Beryl Stock that is light in weight
• When firing from the hip or shoulder, the Lightweight Stock reduces bullet spread while increasing ADS speed.
• The weapon's stability will be harmed as a result of this customization.

Changes in Weapon Balance-

Weapons

• When shotguns and pistols are fired in mid-air, the bullet spread is reduced.
• L85A3: The time it takes to reload will be drastically reduced.

Weapon Modifications

• M416 [C1]: Bullet spread will be reduced when firing from the hip and shoulder.
• This customization will no longer reduce bullet speed for Beryl M762 [C1].
• M16A4 [C1]: This modification has no effect on recoil control.
• This customization will no longer reduce bullet speed on the DSR-1 [C1]. Instead, vertical recoil will be increased.

Improvements to the animation and new actions-

Rolling Parkour

• By tapping the Roll button just before you hit the ground, you will be able to perform a roll to break your fall.
• When you perform a roll to break your fall, you will reduce the amount of damage you sustain.
• This roll can be done while exiting a moving vehicle as well.

Sudden Dash

• Your character will be able to break into a sprint while getting up for a smoother and faster movement transition when you are prone and want to sprint forward.

Improvements to Character Animation

• When alternating between sitting and standing repeatedly, the movement delay time will be reduced.
• The time it takes for a person to move after jumping will be reduced.

Changes in Mode Balance-

BR: Original (100) - In general

• The Blue Zone's overall speed will be increased. (Time total: 90 seconds)
• During the early to mid-game, the Blue Zone's damage will be increased.
• During the Final Phase, the wait time will be extended by 20 seconds.
• The Deployable Shield (Normal) will no longer be available. On the Battlegrounds, only the Deployable Shield: Wide Type will be available.
• There will be a significant increase in the number of Customization Kits available on the Battlegrounds.

BR: Original (100) - Troi

• The number of Drone Credits available in Vermont will be reduced slightly.
• Novas can be found on major highways.

The new season begins-

• Tiers from the preseason will be reset! Based on the highest tier Survivors reached during the Preseason, tiers will be reset for all regions and modes.
• The final rewards for achieving the levels of Contender, Master, and Conquerer will be improved.
• The tier evaluation standards and match scores will be revamped.
• Selecting multiple maps will earn you a small number of tier points (Random 2).
