There are now just two deep dungeons in Final Fantasy XIV – massive, multi-layered roguelite adventures that can be extremely difficult to complete. Director Naoki Yoshida, on the other hand, claims that a new deep dungeon will be added in an update before the game's next big patch.
For a long time, many Final Fantasy XIV gamers have been requesting additional deep dungeon challenges. Heaven-on-High and Palace of the Dead are the only two currently available in the MMO, as well as being added in patch 4.35 as part of the Stormblood expansion cycle in 2018.
Deep Dungeons, the roguelite from Final Fantasy 14, is making a comeback, according to game director Naoki Yoshida. Yoshida revealed that more Deep Dungeons will be added to the MMO during an interview at the Korean Final Fantasy Festival.
Yoshi-P said during the Korean FFXIV FanFes that they heard many people around the world wanted more deep dungeons, and he said they will bring back a new deep dungeon series starting in the 6.X patches. #FFXIV pic.twitter.com/WKyHuWFrqS

The newest Deep Dungeons will be released as part of the 6.0 patch series, which will begin in March or April with patch 6.1. On February 18th, Yoshida will deliver his next message to the community, in which he is expected to discuss Final Fantasy 14's future.
Deep Dungeons are one of Final Fantasy 14's more intriguing experimental components, with the most recent one being released in the Stormblood expansion in 2018. They're multi-layered, large-scale adventures that must be replayed if you die, and some of them are rather challenging. Despite this, they're very popular among the game's players, and a vocal faction has been requesting more already.
