EA is Removing Russia From its Game
All Russian teams have been removed from EA's current FIFA and NHL games.

This means the Russian national team, as well as all Russian clubs, will be removed from FIFA 22, NHL 22, FIFA Mobile, and FIFA Online.

Due to Russia's continued invasion of Ukraine, FIFA has "started processes" to remove the teams, according to a statement made on its official Twitter account.

"EA Sports, like so many other voices around the globe of football, stands in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and urges for peace and an end to the invasion of Ukraine," the statement continues.

"In accordance with our FIFA and UEFA partners, EA Sports has begun the process of removing the Russian national team and all Russian clubs from all EA Sports FIFA products, including FIFA 22, FIFA Mobile, and FIFA Online," the company said.

"We're also looking into making changes to other parts of our games."

"Any actions taken will be communicated to our communities, and we appreciate gamers' patience as we work through these upgrades."

Another comment was released on the official NHL 22 account, stating that Russian and Belarusian teams would be removed.

"We will be removing all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from NHL 22 within the coming weeks, following the IIHF's suspension of all Russian and Belarusian national and club teams from IIHF events," it stated.

"We stand with the people of Ukraine and join the chorus of voices asking for peace around the world."
