Pokemon GO Confirms Community Day in March 2022. When the March festivities come, Pokemon GO players will have the opportunity to track down Sandshrew during a Community Day event.

The month of March 2022 is coming, and Pokemon GO players are now getting the details about the months ahead that they've been waiting for. Players may find and enjoy new perks, spawning, and field research with the start of a new in-game season on March 1. The full event calendar for the first month of Season of Alola is now live, giving players a sneak peek at the featured Pokemon for Community Day next month.

This month's Community Day will be a little more interesting than usual, as promised in the previous developer roadmap blog update. Pokemon GO fans may have guessed that Community Day will have an Alolan twist once the theme for this month's season was announced. Two different Pokemon will be featured at Community Day in March 2022: Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew.

Other Community Day events involving a variety of Pokemon have taken place in the past, usually around the holidays in December, but this one feels a little different. Because of certain incredibly powerful exclusive moves that will be available during the event, meta gamers believe that this Community Day will have a huge impact on the PvP metagame. That means players will want to jump in as soon as March 13 rolls around and collect enough Candy to lock in a few high IV evolutions while the special moves are still accessible.

Trainers, We’re excited to announce that Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew, the Mouse Pokemon, will be featured during March’s Community Day! Sandshrew and Alolan Sandshrew will be appearing more frequently in the wild.

During the upcoming Community Day event, players will be able to take advantage of the 1/4 Egg distance benefit. Although this extra isn't as well-known as the Stardust bonus, it's nevertheless a great opportunity for certain players. It's only logical that the first Community Day of the new season promotes walking around and hatching as many Eggs as possible, given Niantic's stated intention to return to fitness and exploration in early 2022. Players will discover more about the latest rotation of Pokemon available in Eggs as new Season of Alola information becomes available.
