Pokemon GO Announces special Community Day in April 2022 With Mudkip

Pokemon GO has confirmed that the popular water-type Pokemon Mudkip would be featured in a special Community Day Classic event in April 2022.

Every month, Pokemon GO gamers can look forward to a new Community Day event, which includes higher spawn rates for select Pokemon as well as a higher chance of catching a shiny. Pokemon GO runs special Community Day Classic events from time to time, with the next one set for Sunday, April 10.

The next Pokemon GO Community Day Classic event will take place on April 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time, according to Niantic. This Pokemon GO Community Day Classic event, titled "Memories of Mudkip," will allow users to catch Mudkip and its shiny variation. This Pokemon GO Community Day Classic, like other Community Day events, features the chance for users to get an exclusive attack.

Within the event time, players that successfully evolve Mudkip to Marshtomp and subsequently Marshtomp to Swampert will receive the Hydro Cannon Charged Attack. It will take 125 Mudkip candy to complete this task, but there should be plenty of Mudkip around during the Community Day Classic event. Hydro Cannon has 80 power in Pokemon GO Trainer battles and 90 power in Gyms and Raids when Swampert is used.

During Community Day events, Niantic sells unique limited-time Special Research events for $1.00, and one will be available for this Pokemon GO Mudkip Community Day Classic as well. Players can also purchase a special Community Day Box for 850 PokeCoins, which includes a variety of goodies to aid them in their Mudkip hunts, as well as a complimentary bundle that includes 30 Ultra Balls. The Pokemon GO Community Day Box includes 15 Ultra Balls, 15 Pinap Berries, 1 Elite Fast TM, and 1 Remote Raid Pass, according to Niantic.

Other benefits are available to Pokemon GO users while the event is running, as is customary. In this situation, there will be 3x catch XP, as well as Incense and Lure Modules that will last three hours if triggered during the event. If you take photos during the event, there's a chance you'll run into Smeargle.

The Mudkip Community Day Classic event will take place on April 10th, and it is just one of the many large events Niantic has planned for Pokemon GO in the coming months.
