Toisthe Staff: Russia claims that Ukraine is now developing nuclear weapons with United States assistance.

According to the Russian Security Council secretary, US advisors in Ukraine are assisting Kyiv in developing biological and nuclear weapons, possibly increasing the possibility of nuclear war.

Russia is claiming Ukraine of building nuclear weapons in collaboration with the United States, following up on previous statements that its neighbor was creating biological weapons in US-backed research labs in Ukraine.

The assertions were unsupported by evidence or an explanation for how the besieged country could quickly develop working nuclear weapons.

"The development of nuclear weapons by Ukraine would threaten global security and trigger a nuclear war; Russia could not let unrestrained Ukrainian nationalists possess them," Russian Federation Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev stated.

"It has become clear that American advisers encourage and assist the Kyiv regime in the development of biological and nuclear weapons," Patrushev said at a conference in Grozny on Tuesday to ensure the Russian Federation's national security in the North Caucasus Federal District.

"Ukraine has everything," he remarked, "skills and knowledge, technology, raw materials, and delivery methods."

"In combination with biological and nuclear armaments, a huge number of foreign consultants and advisors based in Ukraine pose a new threat to Russia's security," Patrushev stated, without giving proof to back up his claim.

NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg expressed concern on Tuesday that Russia would use chemical weapons in a "false flag" strike as part of its invasion of Ukraine.

"We're concerned that Moscow would orchestrate a false flag operation in Ukraine, possibly with chemical weapons," Stoltenberg said at a press conference.

The US disputed Russian assertions that it was operating biowarfare facilities in Ukraine on March 9, calling the claims "laughable" and suggested that Moscow may be preparing to unleash a chemical or biological weapon.

The US denied Russian reports that it was operating biowarfare facilities in Ukraine on March 9, calling the claims "laughable" and suggested that Moscow may be preparing to unleash a chemical or biological weapon.

Russia has already accused Ukraine of destroying a chemical factory in Donetsk, saying that harmful gas was released into surrounding civilian areas as a result. No one save Russian media agencies has corroborated these charges.
