From June 21 to June 27, over 30 demos of unreleased indie games will be available to test via the Xbox dashboard.
They'll be playable for one week, and while some may be made available again at a later date, the majority will simply be removed.
"These'game demos' aren't the norm," Jessica Ronnell, ID@Xbox's events and community management lead, explained. "The demos you see in our Demo channel are typically created after the game has been completed (or nearly completed) and represent an almost final to final version."
"Think of these as'show floor demos,' not necessarily indicative of the finished product," she added. "What that means is that you'll get to play these games early – way early – which is fantastic because you'll be able to provide feedback!"
A full list of demos will be released closer to the event's start date, but the lineup includes:
Severed Steel.
