After dating for 17 years and then splitting up, the couple married on Saturday.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck reportedly married this weekend after filing for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada.

According to court records, the couple married on July 16 in Clark County, Nevada. Benjamin Geza Affleck and Jennifer Lopez, who is also identified as Jennifer Affleck, were granted the license.

It's unclear whether the couple hosted a wedding or intends to return to Las Vegas for an official ceremony, but Nevada state law requires official documents to be delivered to the courthouse within 10 days.

Jennifer and Ben's representatives have been contacted for comment by AP.

According to Vulture, Lopez and Affleck first met on the set of "Gigli" in 2002.

Later that year, they began dating, and by November 2002, "Bennifer," as they became known in Hollywood, was engaged.

However, Lopez announced the couple's break up in 2004.

During their nearly two-decade separation, the couple would date and marry other celebrities. In 2004, Lopez married singer Marc Anthony. In 2005, Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner.

Both marriages ended in divorce, with Lopez marrying former New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez in 2019 and Affleck dating actress Ana de Armas. Both of those marriages ended in 2021.

Lopez and Affleck re-engaged on April 8.

The couple has no children together, but they do share several children from previous relationships.

Affleck and ex-wife Jennifer Garner have three children: Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.

Lopez has 14-year-old twins Emme Maribel and Maximilian 'Max' with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
