Xbox Game Pass features seven Day One games

Six more games will be added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription service on their first day of release, according to a new sizzle reel.

Xbox Game Pass provides plenty of reasons for Xbox gamers to sign up, but one of the main selling points is its selection of day one games. Xbox Game Pass regularly adds brand-new, day one releases to the library, with multiple day one releases added each month. When a new game is announced to be coming to Game Pass on day one, it's always exciting for Game Pass subscribers, and a recent sizzle reel has highlighted seven such day one releases.

Humble Bundle has released a new sizzle reel via IGN, highlighting seven of its games that are either already available on Xbox Game Pass or will be available on day one. This includes the recently released Midnight Fight Express, an action game that Game Pass subscribers can currently try. Moonscars (launching September 27), Signalis (launching October 27), Coral Island, Ghost Song, Infinite Guitars, and Prodeus are among the other games featured in the sizzle reel. It should be noted that Prodeus is already available on PC Game Pass, but will make its console debut as a day one Xbox Game Pass game.

For those who are unfamiliar with the games, Signalis is a sci-fi horror title with its own distinctive art style, whereas Moonscars is a side-scrolling Soulslike with a grim aesthetic. While Xbox Game Pass subscribers can test out Moonscars on September 27, Signalis will debut on October 27, just in time for Halloween.

When compared to the other games on the schedule, Coral Island is quite unique. Coral Island is a life simulation game that is much more in line with games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley while Midnight Fight Express, Moonscars, and Signalis all feature intense action. Currently, neither it nor Ghost Song, a side-scrolling action game that will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day, have a set release date.

And lastly, Prodeus' console release for Xbox Game Pass is also coming soon. With Prodeus and the other games in the lineup, Game Pass subscribers will have plenty to look forward to in the months to come. Prodeus is a throwback, retro-style first-person shooter that was initially released for the PC in 2020 to generally positive reviews.
