An encounter with one of the series' legendary creatures is depicted in a fan-made Pokemon animation, which successfully captures the atmosphere.

One of the three legendary bird Pokemon, Articuno, is depicted in a fan-made animation of what a battle with him would look like. Along with Mewtwo and Mew, three legendary Pokemon were initially presented in the first generation of Pokemon games. These were the fire bird Moltres, the lightning bird Zapdos, and the ice bird Articuno. These three have become symbols of the franchise ever since the first generation of Pokemon. Despite not being the strongest legendaries among Pokemon, these winged creatures have a distinctive design, and many players still vividly recall their first encounters with them.

The three Pokemon proved to be so well-liked that they received redesigns in Pokemon Sword and Shield, the eighth generation of mainline games, for Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno. Naturally, given their fame, the three fabled birds have been the subject of many fan creations. Sometimes all three of them are showcased in a single work, while other times a fan will choose their favorite to be the emphasis.

A recent Reddit post by MrFrtc, a Pokemon fan, depicted what they imagined an Articuno fight in a movie may look like. The animated clip's roughly one-minute opening scene features the player figure standing on an icy mountain. Many ice-type Pokemon are present around them, including an Avalugg, numerous Spheals, and a few scattered Abomasnow. The main character approaches a gravestone with a note sitting next to it as they stroll toward it while wearing a distinctive Cubone attached tightly to their head.

Articuno then swoops in, flying straight in front of the animated character before vanishing again into the icy landscape. The letter is from the character's father and refers to a "blue bird." The title of MrFrtc's Reddit post, "Pokemon, Forgotten Legends," suggests that this animation, in addition to demonstrating a cool and original interaction with a legendary Pokemon, may also be a fan request for another Pokemon Legends game.

Many Pokemon Legends: Arceus fans have been clamoring for a sequel since since the game's triumph. There are numerous other options for places that could make fantastic Pokemon Legends titles, even though the secrets of the Kanto region might be intriguing to see. It has also been noted that the lore of the Alola region is distinctive and would make for a new kind of Pokemon Legends game. However, a new Pokemon Legends is probably still a few years away because Game Freak now seems to be totally focused on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Arceus from Pokemon Legends is available on Nintendo Switch.
