New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for September 2022 File Sizes Have Been Announced

New PS Plus Extra and Premium Games for September 2022 File Sizes Have Been Announced

PlayStation Extra and Premium users will get a variety of new games tomorrow, and fans now know how much space each one will take up.

The file sizes of the new PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games, which go on sale to the public, have just been revealed to the public. Along with the release of the free monthly titles available to subscribers across all three tiers, Sony also released the PS Plus Extra and Premium selection for September 2022.

For September 2022, Deathloop, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition, Chicory: A Colorful Tale, and more titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. The Ubisoft+ Classics collection, which is available for free to PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, will be expanded to include games like Assassin's Creed Origins, Watch Dogs 2, and Rayman Legends, among others. Fans can now have a clearer understanding of how much room each game will need.

According to PlayStation Game Size on Twitter, Deathloop will require 28.350 GB of storage space, while Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will require 20.474 GB. Monster Energy Supercross for PS4 requires 36.223 GB of storage space, which is more than double that of the PS5 version, which requires only 15.928 GB. In terms of Ubisoft games, Assassin's Creed Origins and Watch Dogs 2 require 53.393 GB and 33.134 GB, respectively. Rayman Legends requires 8.507 GB of space, Rabbids Invasion: The Interactive TV Show requires 6.533 GB, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game requires only 1.093 GB.

Players won't likely need to delete anything to create room for the last few games because they are independent releases. For the PS4 and PS5 editions, respectively, Alex Kidd in Miracle World needs 1.809 GB and 460 MB of storage space, Chicory: A Colorful Tale needs 2.278 GB, Spiritfarer: Farewell Edition needs 8.371 GB, and so forth.

Deathloop is likely the highlight of this month, as PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members will be able to play one of 2021's highest-rated titles. At the end of the year, Deathloop was nominated for and won several prizes, but it was not without criticism. It was created by a Microsoft-owned team, although it was only available on the PlayStation platform for a year. Surprisingly, Deathloop will also be available on Xbox Game Pass when it comes on Xbox systems tomorrow.

Although Assassin's Creed Origins takes up the most space on our list, it is still smaller than Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Fans should be aware that Ubisoft recently updated Assassin's Creed Origins to allow 60 FPS gaming on PS5, so if they chose to play it, they will be able to take advantage of the increased frame rate.
