The next free games on the Epic Games Store have been revealed to the public.

From September 22 until September 29, players can download for free the tactical-RPG and dungeon-crawling hybrid Gloomhaven and the action-adventure survival game Ark: Survival Evolved.

They will take the place of the currently free-to-download single-player sci-fi adventure game The Captain and the third-person adventure game Spirit of the North, which were both inspired by Icelandic scenery.

Last year, 89 free games worth a total of $2,120 were offered by the Epic Games Store (down from 103 in 2020).

Over 765 million free games were claimed by users in 2021, according to Epic.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection's PC release date was already revealed by Sony. In advance of its October 19 release, the game is currently available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Eight games, including Middle earth: Shadow of Mordor, Football Manager 2022, and Assassin's Creed Origins, are available for free to Amazon Prime Gaming subscribers in September.
