Nintendo has launched a multi-day showcase of indie games

Two new games were just released on the Nintendo Eshop, and two more are scheduled for release in 2023.

This week's updates and announcements are promised as part of an indie games showcase that Nintendo has launched.

The first video in the "House of Indies: Holiday Event," which will run from today through December 23, is available to watch below. Each day at 9 a.m. PT, 12 p.m. ET, and 5 p.m. GMT, a new video will be released.

According to Nintendo, these videos will feature "game updates, announcements, and more from our indie partners."

Surprise Switch releases for Mortal Shell: Complete Edition and Floppy Knights were among Monday's announcements.

Early 2023 will see the Switch release of the dog photography game Pupperazzi, and summer 2023 will see the Switch (and PC) releases of Roman Sands Re:Build, a genre-defying first-person narrative adventure game.

In the first week of November, Nintendo held its most recent Indie World Showcase. More than 20 games, including Sports Story, have a Nice Death, and Venba, were showcased during the presentation.

Sports Story, the sequel to 2017's Switch exclusive Golf Story, was also given a December 2022 release window that has yet to materialize, implying that its release could be announced later this week.

The park announced last week that Universal Studios Hollywood's Super Nintendo World will open on February 17, 2023.

The first Nintendo World in America will feature an augmented reality Mario Kart ride set within Bowser's Castle, a Toadstool Café, and a 1-Up Factory merchandise store when it opens.
