The Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Leak Reveals Battle Pass and Other Details

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may include some live-service gameplay components, such as a battle pass, according to a recent leak.

According to a recent leak, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League may include some live-service components, such as a battle pass. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady Studios' first significant release since Batman: Arkham Knight in 2015, is currently slated to debut in May 2023.

In the action-adventure game Suicide Squad, players can take on the roles of Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark. Suicide Squad supports four-player cooperative gameplay, but users can play it solo and switch between the characters with the AI controlling the other members. The Suicide Squad may now include some live-service components, such as a battle pass system, according to a recent leak.

A new screenshot from the Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League in-game menu has surfaced online, as reported by Push Square and VGC. Players can deduce a variety of details about the game from this screenshot. Starting with the primary options, it appears that Suicide Squad will offer battle passes and probably a companion challenge system. Fans can also spot various currency options in the image, which gives them yet another hint as to the image's live-service origins.

But a source has told VGC that the Suicide Squad battle pass will only include in-game cosmetics like skins. Additionally, the currencies shown at the top are apparently XP points, which are used to improve and customize the powers and skill trees of the different characters in Suicide Squad. Fans should be aware that even though the image appears to be real, they should wait to believe any leaks until they have been officially confirmed.

The picture reveals more information about Suicide Squad: Players can alter their loadout in Kill the Justice League and can also see a number that appears to represent the overall gear score. The image also reveals that Suicide Squad will have a chapter select option and a matchmaking option, possibly indicating a mission-based game design.

Some users might be let down by the live-service elements in the image because Rocksteady Studios' Arkham games were single-player only. Although it's unlikely that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will experience the same issues as Marvel's Avengers, such factors can significantly affect the game's overall structure and design. All things considered, it appears that fans will have to wait for more information from Rocksteady regarding how these components operate and any potential effects on the other systems.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launches May 26, 2023, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
