Additional Witcher Crossover Information from Lost Ark

Patch notes for the associated update are shared by Lost Ark along with additional information about the MMORPG's upcoming crossover event with The Witcher series.

The popular Korean MMO Lost Ark's creator provides more details regarding the upcoming crossover with The Witcher. Tomorrow marks the start of the crossover event, which features a variety of fresh The Witcher-related content.

Before making its way to other markets in early 2022, the free-to-play MMO Lost Ark debuted in Korea in 2019. Even though some people criticized the western release for having an excessive number of bot accounts, it ultimately became the breakout hit MMO of that year. According to MMO Populations, Lost Ark averages over 1.5 million players per day and has a respectable Metacritic score of 81.

On January 10, a trailer for Lost Ark's The Witcher crossover was released. Players will visit a stunning island where a magical vortex appears out of nowhere to ruin the festival. As they finish quests and solve the island's mysteries, they will work with The Witcher characters like Geralt, Ciri, Dandelion, Yennefer, and Triss. The event introduces a number of brand-new Daily and Story Quests. The rewards for completing these quests include brand-new potions with Witcher influences, two brand-new Jukebox songs, a new card set with five Witcher characters, a stronghold structure, emoticons, selfie stickers, and a title. The Lost Ark in-game store also offers fresh skins for Geralt and Ciri.

On January 18, after a brief period of downtime beginning at 12 AM Pacific/3 AM Eastern, the event goes live. After a four-hour downtime, The Witcher crossover in Lost Ark will continue to play until February 22. Players of Lost Ark will have plenty of time to check out all the brand-new, season-limited The Witcher content. Speaking with the Guild Investigator in a significant city will allow them to begin their adventure with Geralt and his companions. It should be noted that in order to move between Islands, new Lost Ark players must have finished the Main Story Quest "Set Sail."

Launching along with The Witcher crossover event is a new update that brings several quality-of-life enhancements. These include significant Guild system updates for the Lost Ark. Players can make deposits into their Guild, and their contributions will determine how much they earn each week. Three new Guild Research Options and three new Guild Skills are also added in the game. Improvements to the Mercenary System, Raid Matches, PVP Rankings, and two new PVP Island Sieges are additional additions to Lost Ark's Guilds.

A long list of additional updates and changes are also coming to Lost Ark, including modifications to the quest system and other things. Visit the game's website to view the complete patch notes and information on the new content.
