Crafts for Animal Crossing Fans the Leaf from the Game is Beautiful Stained-Glass Art

A fan of Animal Crossing shares the custom stained-glass artwork they created that is based on the game's recognizable leaf logo.

A fan of Animal Crossing recently posted online about creating a stunning stained-glass artwork of the game's leaf logo by hand. The leaf logo, which is well-known within the gaming community, appears frequently in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, particularly in the in-game branding and advertising materials of Tom Nook's business, Nook Inc.

Given how recognizable the leaf logo is to the series, it is likely not the first time that Animal Crossing fans have used it as inspiration. Recently, some fans even created Christmas ornaments featuring the Animal Crossing leaf logo that they can hang from their trees or place throughout their homes. They can essentially accomplish the same thing using the technique this fan used to create their stained-glass artwork. They will be able to decorate their homes or favorite living areas with a piece of Nintendo's life simulation series.

Reddit user jennybead showcased their stunning stained-glass artwork they created using the Animal Crossing game's leaf logo. The object was held up to the light in the photograph they shared, showcasing the lovely reflection effect it had on the wall behind the artist's hand. The artist seemed to have shaped it beautifully, accurately including small details like the logo's distinct leaf lines and the missing circular piece at the bottom. The piece proudly declares that it is handmade in the photograph. Jennybead added two shades of green to the design to give it more life.

Because making stained glass can be quite difficult, many other Animal Crossing fans on the Reddit thread were very impressed by jennybead's work. One person even said they would love to display this piece in their window next to their owl planters. Additionally, many expressed interests in buying the artist's creations, with one even jokingly enquiring as to how many Bells it cost. They will accept loans, the artist jokingly retorted, making a reference to Tom Nook's loan schemes in the series.

The artist's profile indicates that this is not their first stained glass piece inspired by a Nintendo video game. Pokemon, Kirby, and Super Mario-related designs can be found in some of their other creations. Hopefully they won't be the last to create artwork for the Animal Crossing leaf logo. Fans are probably hoping that the artist will create more stained-glass pieces that are inspired by the life sim series in the future because Animal Crossing has so many recognizable elements and characters.
