Khleo Thomas, best known for playing Zero in the film Holes, shares his favorite video game while at the The Last of Us premiere.
A number of the top contenders for first place have been revealed, along with actor Khleo Thomas, best known for playing Zero in the 2003 film Holes. Thomas enthusiastically responded when asked what his favorite game is while at the HBO show's premiere of The Last Of Us.
Hector "Zero" Zeroni, who made his second major film appearance in Holes, helped Khleo Thomas become well-known. Thomas began a career in music thanks to a friendship with rapper and actor Bow Wow, and has since gone on to appear in over 20 movies, numerous TV shows, and go on tour with Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube among others. Thomas has recently been streaming video games on Twitch while also opening packs of Pokemon cards in search of uncommon Pokemon cards.
When The Last of Us premiered, Thomas was questioned about his favorite game. He declared, "My all-time favorite video game is Final Fantasy 7," without any hesitation. The answer comes as no surprise given his age. Final Fantasy 7 turned out to be one of the most influential video games for many gamers growing up in the 1990s. The game, which took years to develop and generate hype for, was finally released in 1997 after being deemed too demanding for consoles from earlier generations. Instead of the initially anticipated Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Final Fantasy 7 was instead made available on the PlayStation. Both critics and players have consistently praised the game's plot, characters, settings, art, soundtrack, and overall scope.

Thomas listed several of his other favorites along with Final Fantasy 7, including Mega Man X, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Metal Gear Solid, and Super Smash Bros. Again revealing of his formative years in the 1990s and 2000s, his selections resemble a "best of PlayStation era games" list. Khleo Thomas elaborated on his favorite Metal Gear Solid game, despite the fact that it isn't his top choice. Without any hesitation, Thomas responded, "Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater." Thomas mentioned that some of his favorite features of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, one of the best PS2 games, included the camo system and the boss fights, specifically mentioning the fight in the boss room.
Another game that has received high praise from critics is Snake Eater. The only criticisms leveled against it were related to Hideo Kojima's decision regarding the camera controls, which were addressed in the expanded Subsistence version that was soon after released. Snake Eater has only ever received an HD remaster and a 3DS remaster, in contrast to Final Fantasy 7, which has undergone a fair number of remasters and more recently a very successful remake. Khleo Thomas might be able to relive the experience soon because there have been recent rumors of a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake.
