Prosthodontists, who are not dentists, are in charge of creating oral prostheses to replace missing teeth or other oral deformities.
They are frequently referred to as "Dental Plastic Surgeons" because they perform a great deal of cosmetic work.
In order to practice, you'll need to achieve a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or a Doctor of Medicine (DMD), if this sounds like an interesting career path for you. A bachelor's degree of some kind is also required to enroll in dental school.
An average salary of $196,960 is possible once you've acquired your credentials and gained some experience.
