The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword fans discovers what appears to be a real-life counterpart of the in-game Loftwings, and it's remarkably same.

Whereas The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword has a wide interest, it is often disregarded in favor of the other 3D Zelda titles. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword's HD remaster, on the other hand, will undoubtedly attract a large number of new players. Meanwhile, a long-time Skyward Sword fan uncovered a real-life counterpart to one of the game's in-game creatures.

The giant birds that Link can employ to get to different regions in Skyloft are one of the game's main mechanics. Loftwings are a type of bird that appears in Skyward Sword and are one of the game's most identifiable components. Nintendo even released an amiibo based on Zelda's Loftwing from Skyward Sword, but it now appears that Loftwings genuinely exist in real life.

A Reddit user named flurry rush_ discovered a bird that looks suspiciously like the Loftwings from Skyward Sword. The shape of the beak, the eyes, and the way the wings are folded are all similarities between the Loftwings and the Shoebills. The feet and talons are almost identical to those of the in-game bird.

It's interesting how often real-world elements may affect video game opponents, monsters, or even characters. For example, Dogmeat in Fallout 4 was inspired by a real-life dog. During the development of Skyward Sword, the Shoebill bird is likely to have played a crucial, inspirational part in the Loftwing's design.

The upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword allows a large number of people the opportunity to experience, such as the absence of a specific appliance such as Wii Remote Plus when Skyward Sword was first launched on the Wii.

When the port is ultimately released, it will be fascinating to see how well it is accepted. Both The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess were ported to the Wii U, and both remasters included quality of life upgrades that dramatically improved the game's overall experience. Skyward Sword HD appears to have several new gameplay improvements to make the experience more approachable, based on what has been seen so far.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD will be released for the Nintendo Switch on July 16.
