A smart Marvel's Avengers player has synchronized lights to create a spectacular and immersive Red Room experience. The Crystal Dynamics-developed multiplayer superhero brawler was published in September 2020. Although Marvel's Avengers received mixed reviews owing to technical difficulties and microtransactions, Crystal Dynamics continues to support the game with free updates.
Marvel's Avengers has a variety of skins for each of its playable heroes, but none of them were based on the characters' appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the time of release. This much-desired feature didn't arrive until May 2021, when an MCU Black Widow skin was officially revealed following a leak. This sloppy outfit was inspired by the hero's appearances in Avakian: Endgame in 2020, the first official cosmetics confirmed to be a live action. However, many fans of the game dismissed it because Scarlett Johansson did not change the Black Widow hairdo. This was followed by similar Avengers: Endgame cosmetics for Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, and Captain America, which were launched to coincide with an in-game Red Room Takeover event based on the character's origins. Black Widow just became the first Marvel's Avengers character to receive a second MCU-inspired cosmetic, Crystal Dynamics is set to release a Black Widow outfit for her upcoming feature on July 8th, coinciding with the return of the Red Room Takeover event.
Mark as red, a Marvel's Avengers fan and Reddit member, recently uploaded some dazzling footage of the game's Red Room Takeover event. Mark as red was able to sync two huge light bars to their television's illumination by using a Hue Sync Box. This means that playing in the Crimson Room casts a thick red haze over the entire space, while Black Widow's electric weapons cause bright bursts of blue light to periodically pierce through the red haze. Mark as red is able to create a really cinematic experience by donning the new white suit inspired by the recently released Black Widow film.
Despite frequent criticism, Crystal Dynamics has stated that it will continue to support Marvel's Avengers for the foreseeable future. An continuing content roadmap informs players about what they may expect in the future, with both tiny additions and significant expansions arriving in the next months. A recent roadmap update indicates a new raid and hero combination adjustment that may pique the interest of people who have hitherto avoided the superhero experience. Players will be able to face off against the power-copying Super-Adaptoid in this new supervillain raid, while the hero combination change will allow them to team up with any combination of the game's eight available Avengers.
