Square Enix has released the official logos for Final Fantasy 7's 25th Anniversary, which include new artwork of Cloud Strife, Zack Fair, and Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy 7 is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, with the original game released on the PlayStation 1 in 1997. To honor this historic anniversary, Square Enix has released the official set of Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary logos, which usually feature the combination of Cloud Strife, Zack Fair, and Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy 7 continues to inspire gamers all over the world, thanks to its iconic characters and dedicated developers, even after 25 years. Whether one experienced its origin all those years ago, jumped aboard with the Final Fantasy 7 expansion in the 2000s, or was exposed to it all in Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the series means something different to each player, with no two experiences being the same. With a slew of other Final Fantasy 7 projects in the works, both revealed and unpublished, such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis, and others, the fan base is only going to be increasing.

Square Enix came to Twitter to show the official logos for Final Fantasy 7's 25th Anniversary, which will most likely appear in a bunch of locations this year. The beautiful new artwork of Cloud, Zack, and Sephiroth, with Cloud and Zack covered by Sephiroth's flowing angel wing, is the main attraction of the logos. The artwork is used in two logo variations: one that states the complete Final Fantasy 7 title and anniversary name, and another that is more minimalist, simply displaying "25th," the image, and the roman-numeral "VII." This logo was designed to be an extension of the 2007 special 10th Anniversary Final Fantasy 7 logo.

With the logos revealed, it's fair to presume Square Enix has dozens of new Final Fantasy 7 announcements planned for 2022. One such announcement, a special Final Fantasy 7-anniversary stream, has already passed us by, with no fresh information about the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 or Ever Crisis. The presentation was mainly focused on the future of Final Fantasy 7: The First Soldier, the series' battle royale, which has earned a lot of positive feedback since its release and appears to be doing so for the near future.

Zack is one of the series' most significant (and tragic) characters, so seeing him in these logos must be heartwarming for true fans. The dramatic storyline reveal in Final Fantasy 7 Remake to shift Zack's fate, his death in the original game serving as a motivation for Cloud's trip, startled many gamers. It appears that the futures of both Remake and Final Fantasy 7, in general, will not allow gamers to forget about Zack.

Final Fantasy 7 is now available on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam, and Xbox One as a re-release.
