In Halo Infinite's multiplayer, players will be able to earn Credits in the Season 2 Battle Pass, which they will be able to use in-game to buy stuff, cosmetics, and even a new Battle Pass.
After Halo Infinite creator 343 Industries announced all of the Season 1 Battle Pass items, players were upset, especially the lack of any earnable Credits. 343 has been busy introducing changes to the Battle Pass, such as pushing progression-based XP and it appears that more are on the way.
Although Season 2 of Halo Infinite isn't coming out until May – possibly with the much-anticipated campaign co-op – head of design Jerry Hook has taken to Twitter to clarify that "credits will be earnable in Season 2's Battle Pass" thanks to "your persistent input." As a result, everyone who purchases the next Battle Pass will be able to earn Halo Credits to spend in the game's store "as part of your Halo Infinite advancement."
When Hook was unable to provide any details, it is likely that instead of a cosmetic, it will be a small number of Credits that may be unlocked as part of the Battle Pass. 343's chief of design announced improvements to store pricing and a new Big Team Battle remedy this week after the last one failed.
Thanks to your continued feedback, we are happy to confirm Credits will be earnable in Season 2's Battle Pass. That means you will be able to earn Credits as part of your Halo Infinite progression. We’ll have more to share on this as we get closer to Season 2.

Hook also provided an update on the Halo Infinite multiplayer team's efforts to "reduce pricing across the board." While this week was all about lowering the prices of the weekly bundles, he mentioned that next week, some individual items from those bundles will be available on their own.
This is a change to the model moving forward. So all battle passes from S2 on.

The BTB hotfix for Halo Infinite, which was issued earlier this week, was "not as effective as we wanted," but it "also contains new telemetry that has been generating promising data to the team," according to Hook.
Considering view of the new Big Team Battle matchmaking concerns, 343 will remove all Challenges that require BTB when the Weekly Challenges reset on Tuesday until a solution is found. This will ensure that no one's progress from this week is lost and that no one is trapped with difficult-to-complete Challenges as a result of the issues.
