Xbox Game Pass has added 3 new Surprise games for January 2022.

Without previous announcement, Microsoft surprised Xbox Game Pass users by introducing three more games to the service.

Microsoft regularly updates its Xbox Game Pass subscription plan, and the first new Xbox Game Pass games for 2022 have just been released. Microsoft didn't release any of the new Xbox Game Pass games before the date, maybe due to the holidays, to surprise the users of Xbox game Pass with three new games. And, even better, when these all three games first came out have received good reviews.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play Gorogoa, Olija, and The Pedestrian for free starting January 4, 2022. All three games are included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription, Fans will be able to play them on their home consoles or in the cloud, or on their computers. Microsoft rarely announces when new Xbox Game Pass titles will be deleted, but you can expect they'll be available for at least a year, if not more.

Gorogoa is a critically acclaimed puzzle game developed by Jason Roberts and published by Annapurna Interactive in 2017. It received a lot of positive feedback from critics and won a lot of awards, making it one of the better new Xbox Game Pass additions in January 2022.

Many people consider Gorogoa to be one of the best games of 2017, yet Olija and The Pedestrian are considerably newer. At the time of writing, Olija is only a year old, and The Pedestrian is only now making its Xbox premiere as a day one title. Both games are platformers, with Olija featuring retro graphics and The Pedestrian relying on a gimmick in which players must navigate the game world like a stick figure, moving from sign to sign while completing platforming obstacles and solving riddles.

Critics have praised all three of these new Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and they should be solid additions to the Xbox Game Pass catalog. Microsoft hasn't released the full extent of their Xbox Game Pass January 2022 plans as of this writing, so there's a chance that users will get even more additional games later in the month. Subscribers to Game Pass can now play Gorogoa, The Pedestrian, and Olija.

Meanwhile, some games will be removed from Xbox Game Pass in January 2022. Desperados 3, a stealth tactics game that is one of the higher-rated games now available on the service, is one of the most prominent of these.
