Alpha footage from Dying Light 2 from 2020 has been found on the internet. According to reports, the game has been in development for more than five years.

Multiple clips from Dying Light 2: Stay Human's alpha phase have been released on the internet.

Three small clips from the footage, which was released to Imgur, closely resemble the latest open-world zombie adventure.

One scene shows a player leaping from a rooftop before selecting talents from a menu that looks similar to the finished version. Another represents the player swimming in the middle of The City, the game's large central region.

Nintendo Switch's release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human was recently postponed by Techland.

While all other versions of the game were launched on schedule on February 4, 2022, the cloud version for Switch was severely delayed.

According to a press release issued on Wednesday, "Techland wants to bring the game to the Nintendo Switch family within six months of the initial deadline."

Techland has also stated that Dying Light 2 will receive "at least" five years of post-launch content.
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is described as "an uninteresting zombie adventure redeemed by outstanding parkour" in the vgc review.

"Somewhere along the road, Dying Light 2: Stay Human seems to have lost its way. It starts out as a fun zombie game where the threat is real, your character is weak, and the scene is set up for a compelling story. However, as you progress through the game, many of its early concepts feel pushed aside in favor of a typical zombie plot, uninteresting fighting, and a lack of any type of threat."
