Russian oligarchs who are currently trying to save property seized sanctions in EU states can continue their business in Turkey, according to Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu.

According to "European Truth," he claimed this when answering questions from the American channel CNBC at the Doha Forum (in Qatar).

"We are enforcing UN-approved sanctions (current sanctions against the Russian Federation are not such – EP)." "So, if one of the Russians wishes to visit Turkey, he can do so without difficulty... "I will consider it (giving the right to do business to such a Russian Federation citizen) if one of the oligarchs wants to do business in Turkey, and provided the enterprise is legal and does not contradict international law," Cavusoglu stated.

A query like this was posed to Cavusoglu in view of the fact that two of Roman Abramovich's superyachts had arrived in Turkey, which the tycoon had managed to withdraw from European ports. One of them attempted to flee to Bodrum but was halted by young Ukrainian yachtsmen.

Turkey sees no restrictions to oligarchs like Abramovich, whose two yachts are worth $1.2 billion, moving to its ports.

As previously reported, Russian oligarchs' yachts were discovered in Europe. The yachts of Abramovich were then in Spain and under French authority.
