Xbox Free Games with Gold for April 2022 have been revealed

Microsoft has revealed the Xbox free Games with Gold lineup for April 2022, which includes two Xbox One titles and two Xbox 360 games.

It's no secret that Microsoft is primarily concerned with making Xbox Game Pass as appealing to customers as possible. Microsoft ensures that new games are added to Xbox Game Pass on a monthly basis, including brand-new day one release. In contrast, Xbox Live Gold's free Games with Gold program has not received nearly as much attention, despite Microsoft continuing to provide subscribers with four free games to claim each month.

Microsoft has now revealed the Xbox free Games with Gold games for April 2022, which will include two Xbox One titles and two 360 games as usual. On the Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can get Another Sight for free from April 1 to April 30, while Hue will be available from April 16 to May 15. Outpost Kaloki X is available for Xbox 360 from April 1 to April 15, and MX vs ATV Alive is available from April 16 to April 30.

These games are unlikely to change the perception that Microsoft isn't attempting to compete with PS Plus with its Xbox free Games with Gold program, but they may be of interest to some subscribers. Another Sight is a side-scrolling adventure game set in a steampunk version of London, whereas Hue is a visually distinct puzzle game that received mostly positive reviews and even won some awards when it was first released.

Outpost Kaloki X is probably the most obscure game in the lineup, but it allows Xbox Live Gold subscribers who aren't familiar with it to build their own space station. Finally, MX vs ATV Alive is a racing game that debuted in 2011 to mixed reviews.

Of course, Xbox Live Gold subscribers still have time to claim some of the free Games with Gold games for March 2022, and there will be one leftover until April 15. Street Power Soccer is only available to Xbox Live Gold subscribers until April 15, so anyone interested has a few weeks to add it to their digital library.
