Capcom has announced that a Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak digital event will take place later this month.
The event, which will be hosted by Monster Hunter Rise director Yoshitake Suzuki, promises to showcase new gameplay details, monsters, and more.
It will take place on May 10 at 7 a.m. PT/10 a.m. ET/3 p.m. BST.
Capcom announced this month that Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be released on June 30, 2022.
Users must own the base Monster Hunter Rise game, which was published for Switch in March 2021 and for PC in January 2022, in order to play the next expansion.

New stories, locations, and monsters will be included in the paid DLC, as well as new hunting actions and Master Rank quest difficulty.
Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak will be available in a standard digital-only edition, a Deluxe Edition with bonus content such as layered armour sets, gestures, and hairstyles, and a new Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak edition for Switch (physical or digital) and PC (digital-only).
Capcom will also introduce three new Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak amiibo for the Nintendo Switch. The Malzeno-inspired amiibo will grant hunters, Palamutes, and Palicos access to layered armour.
