Because of the ongoing invasion of Ukraine Finland's Prime Minister, Sanna Marin, believes that all Western companies should withdraw from Russia.

According to Yle, "all Western companies should cease operations in Russia," Marin stated.

Finland is prepared to put new sanctions on Russia, according to the prime minister. She also believes that increased electricity prices will not stop more sanctions from becoming enforced.

"Every day, people in Ukraine die, and we must compel this war to cease. For the sake of this, we must be willing to forego our own comfort "Marin emphasized that Russia is fighting a war that is unfair, violent, and barbaric.

She also welcomed President Volodymyr Zelensky's speech to the Finnish Parliament, calling it "outstanding."

The Russian Federation began a new phase of its conflict against Ukraine on February 24: a full-scale invasion. Invaders from Russia have been shelling and bombing Ukraine's peaceful towns and villages, torturing and killing citizens.

Sanctions against Russia have been imposed and will continue to be imposed by the United States, the European Union, and other democracies.
