Reuters: The Kremlin stated on Friday that a Ukrainian strike on a fuel depot in the Russian city of Belgorod did not create favorable conditions for the continuation of peace talks with Kyiv.

Russia accused Ukraine of attacking the depot on Friday, but Ukrainian officials did not reply to requests for comment.

On a conference call with reporters, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said authorities were doing everything possible to reorganize the fuel supply chain and avoid disruptions in energy supplies in Belgorod.

Two Ukrainian military helicopters attacked a fuel depot in Belgorod, according to a Russian official, indicating the first charge of a Ukrainian airstrike on Russian territory since Moscow launched troops into Ukraine in late February.
