Ukrainian troops shot down Russian helicopters and destroyed 10 Russian tanks and 15 armored vehicles in eastern Ukraine.

On the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts on April 17th, Ukrainian troops repulsed 12 Russian attacks, destroyed 10 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 15 armored and 5 vehicle units, and shot down two helicopters on Sunday. 

"Ukraine's defenders destroyed 10 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 15 armored and 5 automobile equipment of the enemy," Joint Forces Operation stated on Facebook.

Air Defense Forces units shot down two Mi-24 helicopters and one Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle in the sky over the Ukrainian-controlled sector of Donbas."

Over the last week, Ukrainian Joint Forces soldiers have repulsed 58 Russian attacks, destroying 37 tanks, 24 artillery systems, 61 armored and 51 automotive units, 5 helicopters, 17 UAVs, and two cruise missiles.

Ukrainian soldiers continue to bravely and heroically repulse the majority of the aggressor.
