The new animation studio of Nintendo Pictures has made its official debut

The new animation studio of Nintendo Pictures has made its official debut.

The official website for Nintendo Pictures, the company's brand-new animation studio, has been launched. It aims to love the look videos that will live forever in memories.

The business revealed its plans to acquire Dynamo Pictures, a Japanese computer graphics company, in July. The goal was to buy all of the company's outstanding shares and turn it into a wholly owned subsidiary.

Nintendo stated that it intended to rename the business Nintendo Pictures Co. Ltd. after the acquisition and that it would then "focus on development of visual content utilizing Nintendo IP."

The new Nintendo Pictures website has been launched because the deal, which was expected to close today, has done so. Currently available only in Japanese, the website's corporate message states: "Through our videos, we aim to make Nintendo characters known to customers around the world and create unique videos that will remain in their memories forever.

To that end, each and every one of our employees will put in a lot of effort to build a company that can expand by constantly thinking about what customers around the world might find interesting and completing tasks they find enjoyable. We will keep up the challenge of giving customers everywhere unusual and unexpected images that cut across generations and eras.

The company has previously created CG for a variety of films and TV shows under the name Dynamo Pictures, including Yuri on Ice, Aya and the Witch, and season two of Netflix's Ghost in the Shell SAC 2045.

Despite the initial assumption that this acquisition will lead to more Nintendo animated films and TV shows in the future, it is important to keep in mind that Dynamo also specializes in creating visual content for video games. The company contributed to the CG in Final Fantasy XIII-2 and has done motion capture for games like Persona 5, Monster Hunter World, Death Stranding, and Nier Replicant.

It has previously collaborated with Nintendo. The company assisted with the CG cutscenes in Metroid: Other M and collaborated with Shigeru Miyamoto to create a series of Pikmin "short movies" for the Wii U and 3DS.

To avoid confusion, Nintendo Studios, which recently showed up on copyright listings for the upcoming Super Mario animated film, is not the same as the proposed rebranding to Nintendo Pictures.

Although the listings provided no additional details, it appears that Nintendo Studios may be a new division that Nintendo established to manage upcoming visual entertainment, such as films or TV shows.

Marvel Studios LLC and PlayStation Studios LLC, which are affiliates of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Walt Disney Studios, respectively, are other similar subsidiaries.
