The Last of Us fan made an effort to recreate a scene starring Joel, Ellie, and Tommy using LEGO blocks. Following the HBO premiere of The Last of Us, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, the games recently saw an increase in sales, which also means fans have been sharing more artwork based on them.
Since its release in 2013, the first The Last of Us game has received two remastered versions, a prequel DLC titled Left Behind, and a sequel titled The Last of Us Part 2. Because of the captivating plot, engaging gameplay, and multifaceted characters, the game attracted a sizable fan base. So much so that they frequently use different tools, like LEGO, to recreate significant moments from The Last of Us.
The LEGO artwork was published on brickpanda82's Instagram page and uploaded to the Last of Us subreddit. Both platforms saw a largely positive response to it. A The Last of Us LEGO set, according to one Redditor, would be cool, but another thought the game might be too graphic for the toy industry. On their page, the artist has other works of LEGO inspired by The Last of Us, one of which features Joel firing a Clicker.
Since creator and Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann made sure that the series stayed as true to the original as possible, the legacy of the game lives on in HBO's The Last of Us. Fans may have high hopes for the television adaptation of the sequel now that The Last of Us has been renewed for a second season.
The PlayStation 5 version of The Last of Us is available now, or gamers can wait for the March 3rd release of the PC port if they want to play the game again. The Last of Us Part 2 for PC has yet to receive any news, but Naughty Dog may do so in the future. If there is an intriguing story for a third The Last of Us game, Naughty Dog will allegedly develop it, so there may still be hope for fans.
