G4 Announces Return Date with a Lighthearted Teaser.

The gaming-centric network's re-launch date has been confirmed by a new G4 promo.

The gaming-centric network G4 is set to return to the airwaves in November after nearly seven years off the air.

The Xbox Series X console has been compared to a refrigerator, PlayStation 5 consoles are hard to come by, the Nintendo Switch OLED model has been announced, and, of course, KFC is attempting to join the gaming market, according to a tongue-in-cheek promo sent to the G4 Twitter account. The trailer ends with the announcement that the new G4 would be released on November 16th.

G4 (also known as G4tv) debuted in 2002 and was temporarily renamed G4techTV from 2004 to 2005. The gaming-focused station aired original programming such as Attack of the Show!, X-Play, and Code Monkeys throughout its run. G4 was also the home of the first season of American Ninja Warrior. Reruns of purchased shows including Star Trek, Arrested Development, Quantum Leap, and other Marvel anime series were also broadcast on the network. In November 2014, G4 suspended operations and went off the air the next month. G4 will make a reappearance in mid-2020, according to official announcements.

G4 will return on November 16th.
