PUBG’s upcoming mobile sequel New State will be released in November.

New State, the futuristic mobile sequel to PUBG, will be released in November. The sequel to the battle royale game is set in 2051 and involves four maps.

On November 11, PUBG: New State, the successor to PUBG: Battlegrounds, will be available for Android and iOS smartphones. The free-to-play, season-based service game will launch in 200 countries and 17 languages, developed by PUBG Studios, the same firm that created Battlegrounds for PC and consoles.

Over 50 million smartphone users have pre-registered their interest in the future battle royale game, according to Krafton. It'll be set in 2051 and feature four maps at launch, including Troi and Erangel, the franchise's first battleground.PUBG’s upcoming mobile sequel New State

During a 50-minute media presentation on Friday, the publisher announced the game's release date and demonstrated several features. A gunplay system "on par with what's available in the PC version" of PUBG, a focus on weapon customization, "a unique player recruitment mechanism," and the game's Drone shop marketplace are among the highlights, according to the company.

On October 29-30, a final technical test for the game will be held in 28 locations across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

A PUBG sequel is also rumored to be coming to consoles and PC in 2022.
