The other multiverse characters that Spider-Man will meet have yet to be officially confirmed. Sandman, who was played by Thomas Haden Church in 2007's Spider-Man 3, and the Lizard, who was played by Rhys Ifans in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man, will both feature, according to Empire.

Willem Dafoe's Green Goblin was teased in the previous trailer, and Jamie Foxx's return as Electro has been speculated for some time. Additionally, prior Spider-Man actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield have been speculated to appear in the picture, though Garfield has repeatedly refuted this.
Jon Watts, who directed both of the previous MCU Spider-Man films, is directing Spider-Man: No Way Home. Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role as Stephen Strange, Zendaya reprises her role as MJ, Jacob Batalon reprises his role as Ned, Jon Favreau reprises his role as "Happy" Hogan, Marisa Tomei reprises her role as May, and Benedict Wong reprises his role as Wong.
On December 17, Spider-Man: No Way Home will be the first of three MCU films set to be released in late 2021. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be released in theaters on September 3rd, and you can read our review of the film here.
