Rocket League gamers have experienced a frenzy of movie tie-in content within the free-to-play game this year alone. Along with the new Ecto-1, fans have seen various Batmobiles and James Bond's Aston Martin introduced to the game in recent weeks, and it appears developer Psyonix is showing no signs of stopping down when it comes to branded content. Players who want to add some movie magic to their soccer games usually have a limited opportunity to get new themed cosmetics, which usually come coupled with accessories like decals and wheels. The next branded addition to Rocket League, albeit not movie content, was the BMW 240i, which was released earlier in November.

For Ghostbusters fans, the fresh Rocket League content will almost certainly be unmissable, providing them another chance to win matches in one of the most iconic vehicles in the world. While the infamous car has previously appeared in the game, the Ecto-1 will now have a more tarnished and aged appearance, in keeping with the new film's 30-year timeline. If the new aesthetic does not appeal to gamers, they can opt for the cleaner version from the 1984 film. Stay Puft's new painted varieties, available in Black, Crimson, and Sky Blue, add a little more to the game.
The new Ghostbusters Rocket League content will not be available indefinitely, since the items will be removed from the Item Shop on November 22. With a Rocket League partnership and the introduction of a new Ghostbusters AR game, November is shaping up to be a wonderful month for Ghostbusters and gaming aficionados. On November 19, Ghostbusters: Afterlife Scare will be released for mobile devices, allowing users to catch ghosts in their real-world surroundings.
