Intel Leaks Indicate That 2023 Will Be A "Big Year" For ARC Graphics Cards.

While no one knows how well the Intel ARC graphics cards will perform, one source predicts that 2023 will be a historic year.

Graphics card solutions will be released next year, and it will be a great year. With Nvidia said to be releasing the RTX 3090 Ti, AMD rumored to be working on a competitor, and Intel rumored to be preparing to show off its ARC cards, all three companies will be battling for consumer attention. However, it may take some time for "team blue," as the CPU tech behemoth is now affectionately known, to catch up to the current market veterans, particularly Nvidia, but the following year could be one to watch.

As shown in a recent video from the YouTube channel Moore's Law Is Dead, a leaker in close contact with the show's host claims that Intel will have a "big year" in 2023, the year following the launch of its first line of ARC graphics cards and that the company is "increasingly confident" about the future of its upcoming GPUs. The source is talking to the DG3 cards, dubbed "Battlemage," which are expected to arrive in 2023, according to a recent roadmap of forthcoming cards.

According to the host, Intel may be better off focusing on the mid-range market at first, with DG3 having an impact on the high-end once it is introduced. According to rumors, the Intel ARC "Alchemist" GPU could compete with the RTX 3070 Ti, which was released this summer and features 8 GB of GDDR6X on a 26-bit bus. If Team Blue decides to go for the high-end, it may seek to compete against the 3090 or 3090 Ti, but by 2023, the market may have already moved on to the next generation of graphics cards.

Given that the Nvidia 4000 series is expected to launch in mid-2022, Intel has every incentive to want to compete with, if not outperform, Jensen Huang and his team, who are the industry's front-runners. Of course, we won't know for sure until DG3 and the rest of the ARC goods arrive, but the leaker suggests that the firm is excited about what's coming next year.

Furthermore, there is still a chip scarcity that could continue until 2023, just around the time Battlemage is set to release, making it difficult to predict how things will turn out. In summary, it appears that Intel, Nvidia, and AMD will all do their best to drown out the competition, with the newcomers having a chance to oust the other two.
