Pokemon GO New Loading Screen Update Teases New Pokemon for 2022.

Niantic has released a new Pokemon GO loading screen image, which may contain hints of Pokemon that will be added to the game next year.

The year 2022 coming to a close, many video games, like Pokemon GO, are preparing for the New Year. The game already has an annual New Year's event going on, but that's not all Niantic has planned for Pokemon GO fans.

Niantic released a new loading screen graphic for Pokemon GO earlier today to welcome the New Year and the surprises in store for the next year. The photograph shows a Pokemon trainer with a Growlithe, Raikou, and other Pokemon gathered to watch fireworks go off in the distance. The new loading screen among the gathered Pokemon displays what might be some of the first new Pokemon coming to Pokemon GO next year.

In addition to the Pokemon Helioptile and Flabebe, the new loading screen has the Pokemon Helioptile and Flabebe. Helioptile can be seen to the left of Growlithe in the shot, while several Flabebe can be seen at the bottom of the image, watching the fireworks with the trainer. The presence of both Pokemon in the loading screen suggests that they may be the first new Pokemon added to Pokemon GO in 2022 by Niantic.

Both the Pokemon Helioptile and Flabebe are related to the Kalos area, which first appeared in Pokemon X and Y. Helioptile is an Electric and Normal-type Pokemon that develops into Heliolisk when given a Sun Stone. Flabebe is a Fairy-type Pokemon that can evolve into Floette, which evolves into Florges, and Helioptile is an Electric and Normal-type Pokemon that evolves into Heliolisk when given a Sun Stone. Both Pokemon contribute something to the game, although their inclusion in Pokemon GO has yet to be verified.
