Subscribers to PlayStation Plus who play Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel can get 50 free card packs, and here's how to get them.

Whenever it comes to gaming subscriptions and services, the free games are usually the center of attention (outside things such as needing it to play premium games online). PS Paying subscribers have had a fantastic start to the year, with Sony now offering Deep Rock Galactic for PS4/PS5, Persona 5 Strikers for PS4, and Dirt 5 for PS4 and PS5. Deep Rock Galactic, in particular, has attracted a large number of new fans, but the other releases are all excellent.

Whether it's PS Plus, Xbox Live Gold, Amazon Prime Gaming, or any of the other membership services, there's usually more to it, such as discounts and other bonuses. Thanks to PlayStation Plus, individuals who purchased Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel soon after its release can now claim bonus card packs (and, with cross-progression enabled, players get these cards on other platforms like Steam too.)

Subscribers to PS Plus on PS4 and PS5 can get 50 free card packs, which will be valid until April 1, 2022. Obviously, there's no hurry, but when players get into the new game, these additional cards will come in handy. Furthermore, given the price of gems in Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, it's a fantastic value, so fans should be sure to keep it safe.

To get these cards, gamers only need to link their Konami account to their PlayStation Plus account. The PS Plus exclusive deal will then be available in the PlayStation Store for players to claim. Those who desire to play on a different platform, such as Steam, can move their data and profile to that platform and keep their cards. It should be noted that the cross-progression system requires users to move their profile via their Konami ID using the data transfer facility, therefore it would be the same.

There are no matching promotions for Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel on other platforms like the Switch or Xbox as of this writing. This is terrible for players who are only able to play on these platforms, but they shouldn't be too disappointed. During the tutorial and early missions, Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel throws a lot of free gems at players (100 gems = 1 pack), so while it's not as much as PS Plus subscribers get right away, those users can still work on customizing their deck.

Every month, PS Plus subscribers get a list of free games.
