Ukrainian air defense units have shot down Russian aircraft, helicopters, and cruise missiles over the past day

Ukraine's air defense units shot down a Russian aircraft, helicopter, and cruise missile on April 19.

"On April 19, nine Russian occupiers' air targets were downed by air defense units of the Air Force, Land Forces, and Air Assault Forces in Ukraine's east and south," the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook.

Ukrainian defenders, in particular, shot down an aircraft (likely a Su-34 fighter-bomber), a Ka-52 helicopter, five unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and a cruise missile

From February 24 to April 19, Russian troops lost approximately 20,800 personnel, 802 tanks, 2,063 armored personnel vehicles, 386 artillery systems, 132 MLRS, 67 anti-aircraft systems, 169 aircraft, 150 helicopters, 8 boats/cutters, and 76 fuel tanks in Ukraine.
