Microsoft Xbox Game Pass could get a surprise Day One release

Microsoft's subscription service might be getting a new game that wasn't previously listed as being a part of Xbox Game Pass after all.

Xbox Game Pass has proven to be a hugely popular way for gamers to play a huge variety of releases for one price, despite the fact that many people were initially skeptical about the idea of allowing AAA titles to be made playable through a monthly subscription service. Microsoft consistently works to make new releases available on the Xbox and PC subscription service from day one, and new games are frequently announced for Xbox Game Pass. Now, a new game that had not previously been mentioned as a part of Xbox Game Pass may have been accidentally announced as coming to the service.

Gungrave G.O.R.E. is the upcoming title that might be included in Xbox Game Pass. Gungrave G.O.R.E has been hailed as an anime come to life, centering around gameplay that is all about style and action, reviving the Gungrave franchise after 18 years without a mainline release. Despite not being the most well-known gaming franchise, Yasuhiro Nightow, the manga writer behind Trigun, was the man behind the creation of the Gungrave franchise, which has a fascinating past.

An email that listed upcoming games for Xbox Game Pass gave rise to the theory that Gungrave G.O.R.E might be added to the service. Gungrave G.O.R.E was listed in the email even though it was never explicitly mentioned as a Game Pass title, suggesting that the title may eventually be added to the service. But since the revelation hasn't been officially confirmed, it should be treated with caution. Since the announcement was only made in a European Game Pass newsletter, it might be inaccurate.

It should also be noted that when Gungrave G.O.R.E was first announced, it was only going to be available on the PS4 and PS5, but it was later made known that it would also be available on Xbox One and PC. A PlayStation-only television series called Gungrave has a history. Many people will be thrilled to see a return to the action franchise whether or not Gungrave G.O.R.E. makes it to Game Pass.

Gungrave G.O.R.E is scheduled for release in November of this year, so its inclusion on Game Pass might help bring an otherwise troubled 2022 to a close. For instance, games like Starfield and Redfall that were supposed to be included in Game Pass in 2022 have now been delayed until 2023. For instance, the release date of High on Life was changed from October to December. So the launch of Gungrave G.O.R.E might prolong the wait for some other eagerly awaited Game Pass games.

On November 22, 2022, Gungrave G.O.R.E. will be made available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
