Taylor Swift just released the re-recording of her fourth studio album, Red, a few weeks ago. Swift's latest album, unsurprisingly, became a worldwide obsession that not only dominated music charts but also found its way into the video game industry, specifically the quaint and charming world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which recently received a major quality of life update as well as a paid DLC expansion called Happy Home Paradise.

The 10-minute rendition of All Too Well was one of the songs in Red (Taylor's Version) that fans were most looking forward to. Along with the new song, Swift also released a 15-minute short film starring Sadie Sink, Dylan O'Brien, and Swift herself, which tells the story of a failed love. Now, according to TikTok, a Taylor Swift fan appears to have replicated a portion of the song video in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

The scene where Saide Sink's character is celebrating her birthday with friends is recreated in this fan-made recreation of the All Too Well short film. Naturally, instead of other human characters, the recreation video casts some of Animal Crossing: New Horizons' cutest villagers as Sink's friends, with the player character taking the lead. The appearance of the lead female character in the All Too Well short film, which appears to be modeled after Swift herself rather than the red-headed character portrayed by both Sink and Swift in the music video, is a significant difference between the All Too Well short film and the fan-made video.

But it's not unusual to see gamers in Animal Crossing: New Horizons replicating their favorite music videos, it's worth noting that this isn't the first time Taylor Swift has been in the game. Fans began recreating some of Swift's most recognizable ensembles from her other music videos just days following the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons last year. Aside from that, fans took the time to meticulously reproduce Swift's album covers, starting with Taylor Swift's debut album Taylor Swift and ending with Lover in 2019.

Fortunately for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players who haven't returned to their islands in a long time, Nintendo recently issued a massive update that included a slew of quality-of-life additions and bug fixes that fans have been requesting since the game's release. The Happy Home Paradise DLC further adds to the game's mechanics by allowing players to design and decorate villagers' vacation houses. Players should be aware that while update 2.0 is free, Happy Home Paradise is a paid DLC that may be purchased separately or accessed by subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is now available on Nintendo Switch only.
