Rocky Balboa Summon is discovered by Elden Ring Player

A summon honoring the legendary boxer Rocky Balboa, who was portrayed by Sylvester Stallon in eight movies, is found by an Elden Ring player.

A Rocky Balboa-inspired summon build has been found by an Elden Ring enthusiast. Sylvester Stallone played the role of Rocky Balboa. The player found the unusual build, laughed that it existed, and then read a commenter's explanation of how it was made. It is one of many original Elden Ring creations that have appeared on the internet.

The most recent game from FromSoftware, which was released in 2017, saw strong sales and positive reviews. Elden Ring has sold more than 17 million copies worldwide and eventually broke The Last of Us Part 2's record for Game of the Year awards. Sharing custom builds of the game's many characters, many of whom resemble heroes and antagonists from other franchises, is a favorite pastime of the game's devoted fans.

Fans of Elden Ring have previously made builds based on Zeus and Darth Maul from the Star Wars movie series. More recently, Rocky Balboa-inspired summon characters were discovered by Reddit user Dilim Kek. The chest armor was a modified version of the Gravekeeper Cloak, which gave the build his bare chested appearance, as revealed by one of the commenters who appeared to believe it was their character. In addition, the character had a ton of buffs and faith, and the "boxing gloves" were made of the Iron Ball melee weapon and the Bull-Goat build gauntlets. It was ultimately quite effective in the game, according to the user.

Beginning in 1976, Sylvester Stallone's Rocky film series helped to establish the then-unknown actor as a star. One of the most influential movies ever made, the original Rocky both established and subverted the underdog sports film genre. Its release was followed by five direct sequels, all of varying quality, from the 1970s to the mid-2000s. A follow-up television series called Creed debuted in 2015 and was centered on Rocky helping his former rival's son live up to his father's legacy. Another spinoff centered on Ivan Drago and Viktor Drago, the antagonists from Rocky 4 and Creed 2, is currently being developed. It now seems that some Rocky fans are also Elden Ring series devotees.

What the developer has in store for Elden Ring is unknown as of this writing. The upcoming game Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is currently being worked on by FromSoftware while DLC for Elden Ring is on the minds of all fans. It's unclear whether the creation of the eagerly anticipated sequel will take precedence over any Elden Ring DLC. What is certain, though, is that players will continue to make builds based on their preferred movie characters as long as the game maintains its fan base.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
