Fortnite Update Includes Deku's Smash, Falcon Scout, New Reality Augments, and More

Here is what's new in the most recent Fortnite content update, which brings a ton of entertaining items and new reality augments to the game.

The most recent Fortnite content patch has now been made available, despite the delay, so let's see what's changed. To everyone's surprise, the Fortnite update for this week didn't come out on Tuesday. Normally, Epic Games responds to these issues quickly, but for some reason, this update was delayed by one day. The community was disappointed by this because everyone was eager to learn more about the game's additions and the bugs that would be fixed.

Fortunately, it appears that the update was worthwhile since many of the modifications and additions could significantly enhance the game's current state. Unfortunately, Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 had far too many bugs that prevented players from fully enjoying the game and maximizing their enjoyment, but many significant bugs were also fixed.

The new Fortnite content update was released on Wednesday as opposed to Tuesday, and it more than made up for it by adding the Falcon Scout item, a remote-controlled drone that scouts a nearby area and can recover downed teammates. It also added five Reality Augments and fixed the Deku's Smash. Additionally, the second installment of Oathbound Quests, which is a part of this season's story quest line, has also been made available. Fans of Fortnite will undoubtedly have a thrilling few days because there is so much to try out, play with, and finish.

Since not everyone liked the Deku's Smash mythical, Epic Game's decision to unvault it has generated some debate. Fans speculate that the Deku's Smash's removal from Fortnite may have been due to it being too powerful, but there was no announcement or other kind of justification for it. The most recent patch notes only state that the problem that led to the item's removal was fixed, despite Epic's claim that it was removed because of a problem it had not yet identified.

The Fortnite hurdle mechanic, which recently returned to Fortnite with the same problems, has not received any further information. Considering that Epic Games claimed to have fixed mantling-related problems that sent players flying across the map, it stands to reason that the most recent patch also addressed any hurdling bugs. It will soon become apparent as users experiment with this new update whether these additions were a good idea or not, and hopefully no additional items will need to be removed unexpectedly.

Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
