Today's God of War Ragnarok Update will include a photo mode

God of War Ragnarok rolls out an update that will add many exciting features today, including the highly anticipated photo mode.

The long-awaited photo mode and many other exciting features are included in the most recent God of War Ragnarok update. Recently released video game God of War Ragnarok has completely dominated the gaming industry. The Santa Monica Studios action role-playing game was well received by critics and fans and has enjoyed phenomenal commercial success ever since. Notably, God of War Ragnarok is shattering records and has sold an astounding 5.1 million copies to become the fastest-selling first-party launch in PlayStation history.

Although God of War Ragnarok received a ton of positive reviews, fans were disappointed that photo mode was missing. Most contemporary video games have a photo mode that enables users to capture images of gameplay. Video game photography has become more popular as a result of how strongly graphics and natural beauty are emphasized in today's games. Fortunately, the most recent update to God of War Ragnarok includes a number of noteworthy features, including the eagerly awaited photo mode.

God of War Ragnarok photo mode is currently available, according to the PlayStation Blog. Now that Kratos and Atreus have entered the nine realms of Norse mythology, players can capture some incredible images of them doing so. Players can use expressions on characters like Sindri, Angrboda, Freya, Brok, Thor, and Thrud in addition to Kratos and Atreus. If they only want to photograph the scenery, they can also conceal a character from a scene.

In addition, God of War Ragnarok players can modify the shutter with the depth of field, focus distance, and F-stop as well as the camera controls with the field of view, focal length, and camera roll. Gamers can adjust the filters and brightness in God of War Ragnarok's new photo mode by adjusting the settings for the filter's intensity, exposure, and film grain. The final one offers more precise control with a stronger emphasis on vibrance and saturation. Thanks to the most recent update, fans can now embellish their God of War Ragnarok images with borders, vignettes, and logos.

Tim Ward, the QA Lead at Santa Monica Studios, also shared some pointers on how to take high-quality photos in God of War Ragnarok. To achieve the desired color tones, Tim recommends adjusting the vibrance, saturation, and filter intensity settings. Players who take vertical pictures should roll the camera 90 degrees to add more headroom, and those who want to give their pictures more depth should try using a vignette.

God of War: Ragnarok is available on PS4 and PS5.
