Iconic Spider-Man villains are now playable characters in the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Mod.
Two of Spider-most Man's infamous symbiote villains from his rogues' gallery have been added as playable characters in a mod for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom

Two of the most adored villains from Spider-rogues Man's gallery are now playable characters in a new mod for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3. These two are the infamous symbiote antagonists from the series, Venom and Carnage. Venom has made numerous appearances in video games, from those that primarily feature Spider-Man to those in the Marvel vs. Capcom series. With the exception of Marvel vs. Capcom 3, every game in this crossover series allowed players to control Venom, which was only later added to Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite as downloadable content. That is improved by this mod.

Custom character mods are now possible thanks to recent developments in the game's modding community, which have overcome the game's built-in limitations. As a result, the Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 palette swap mod was created, which uses existing character costume slots in the roster and replaces them with brand-new characters. This has resulted in the playability of characters such as Thanos, Ultron, and Asura by replacing the character costumes of Mike Haggar, Frank West, and Iron Man, respectively. These mods accomplish the same thing by including the previously mentioned Venom and Carnage.

CaliKingz01 created this mod, and they released a trailer for its release to celebrate the new year. This trailer begins with Carnage's gameplay, followed by the theme song from his debut video game, Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage, for nostalgic purposes. Both Carnage's normal and Omega variants are playable with this mod, as are the models and voice clips from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2.

After Carnage's gameplay, Venom appears in a scene that also resembles Maximum Carnage. The gameplay of Venom is based on his appearance in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, where he employs symbiote- and web-based attacks. The audio clips for him are also from Infinite, but they have been pitched down to make them sound deeper and more like some of his more ominous and well-liked performances. Additionally, an Anti-Venom outfit is added by this mod.

This mod for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 impressed many fans because it uses many components from both the characters in the base roster and other games to achieve this. In the base game, X23's costume slots are used by this mod, whereas Trish's slots are used by Venom. The use of Green Jelly's Carnage Rules was the standout feature that won over many fans for this mod's nostalgic appeal.

On the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is avalible.
