Vegeta may not be able to catch a break in the Dragon Ball Super manga, but with his new Giant Ape Form in Dragon Ball Legends, fans will be able to give the Saiyan prince a few successes.

Legends Limited Vegeta's new Giant Ape Form is simply one feature of the new character. This version of Vegeta is a tough combatant who can replenish his health after opponent combinations and will inflict a Ki penalty on adversaries who manage to evade his strikes, much as in the anime and manga. At the outset of a battle or when he is put to standby, Vegeta will gain permanent boosts. In a press video released to one of Bandai Namco's main YouTube channels, the new Vegeta was revealed. Several additional modifications to the popular mobile game are also detailed in the video.

Dragon Ball Legends is a team-based action RPG that was first published in 2018 for Android and iOS devices by Bandai Namco. Shallot, a Saiyan who wakes up with no memory of his past and is compelled to play in the Tournament of Time, is the protagonist of the game. Shallot is a fresh new unique character created by Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. Players may bolster their squad with alternate versions of Dragon Ball's most renowned fighters, including Goku, Gohan, and Kale, in addition to Shallot and other new characters created only for this game. Legends have both a narrative mode and a competitive PVP multiplayer mode.

Dragon Ball was initially published in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump by Akira Toriyama in 1984. Since then, Dragon Ball has eclipsed Eiichiro Oda's One Piece and Takao Saito's Golgo 13 as the third best-selling manga series of all time. The Dragon Ball Z anime attained popular recognition when it was broadcast on Cartoon Network's Toonami block in the late 1990s and early 2000s, after running in syndication on different networks around North America throughout the early 1990s.

Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, the franchise's next film, was announced at the 2021 San Diego Comic-Con, and would include a new art style that combines 2D and 3D CG animation.
